Real Madrid striker Higuain linked with Chelsea, Manchester City & Manchester United
Argentinean striker Gonzalo Higuain has been tipped to leave Real Madrid and a host of English clubs are interested, according to a report in AS this morning.
Higuain has been in negotiations with Real Madrid for some time over a new contract and is reportedly eager for better pay at the Bernabeu.
AS report that Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are all interested and there are also Italian clubs following developments.
The 22-year-old striker feels Real Madrid would be happy to sell him to bring in cash for a new “Galactico.”
He is contracted to Real Madrid until the end of season 2012/2013 and AS expects his future to dominate the gossip columns this summer.
Higuain has been in incredible form in 2009/2010, scoring 29 goals in 38 appearances, including 12 in his last 12 games.
Both Manchester City and Manchester United are expected to be looking for new strikers this summer.
Sir Alex Ferguson will be looking for a partner for Wayne Rooney whilst Roberto Mancini looks set to splash the cash again to secure a Champions League place next season.
Carlo Ancelotti ruled Chelsea out of a move for Fernando Torres late last week as he does not want to break up the partnership of Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka .
