Which B will it be for Boca?

Boca lost again tonight, 3-0 to Colon.

Before the game Boca’s starting GK who was benched by the Boca coach Abel Alves got into a fist fight with him in the locker room. Several other players got into heated arguments with Alves.

Alves is definitely done as Boca coach.

The rumor mill is working overtime.

Batistuta, Bianchi and Barros Schelloto are reportedly the candidates to take over as the next Boca coach.

as much as I would love to see bati in the position, I feel Bianchi is the man for the job…

but then again, im kinda happy boca is losing 🙂

im really bumbed out about River, I thought Ortegita was going to make a difference…

I saw the highlights of last game, its pretty disturbing how the fans insult our players on the way out.. sorry, but if you call yourself a “fan”, and you do that when the players are walking out, i dont consider them a “fan”…
im sure its harder for them going thru this, then it is fr us.
Im sure this has to do alot with the young players we have.. I hope river does something about it quick…

any rumors of possible players or coaches coming aboard?

Well, there’s supposedly going to be alot of house cleaning after this season. Alot of contracts are not going to be renewed. Which I agree with.

Passarella is reportedly working on bringing back Aimar, Saviola, D’Alessandro and Cavenaghi.

I don’t know if he’ll be able to pull that off but if he does he should be designated River President for life.

River definitely needs changes in every line.

Fortunately we have an outstanding GK in Vega but the the rest of the team needs to be changed and as much as I respect el Negro Astrada he can’t be River coach anymore.

As far as a new coach, the specter of Ramon Diaz is always there.

I would love for him to be back in charge of the team but I don’t know if Ramon and Passarella would get along.

Ramon is a big personality and idol. I don’t know if Passarella would be able to handle working with him.

i was at the game wednesday night and I have to tell you I was not one of those insulting the players or Astrada. It really isn’t Astrada’s fault- the players aren’t good at all. I am perplexed that he keeps playing Funes Mori who has no confidence.

As for vega being a great goalkeeper- i have to disagree. he’s gotten worse by the game. he was awful against Lanus and Independiente, hesitant against Boca. We need to bring back Carrizo.

The thing with the abroad players is that if they really love River, they will return, maybe on loan or something just to get us out of this. Especially Aimar and Saviola- the money is good in portugal, but the football isn’t. Benfica is scoring four or five a game, I hope they come back for a challenge and to save our club.

Also just so you no, Ortega and Almeyda were cheered when they left the pitch, the other players were the ones who were insulted.

El Burrito played so well! If we had some one like Crespo or Cavegol instead of Canales in their we would have won 2 or 3-1. Sadly, El Burro cannot beat people 1 on 1 with the dribble, but the magic is still there. GRACIAS BURRO. Siempre sos un idolo

I would not be against Carrizo coming back to River but we’ll have to disagree about Vega. I believe he is a very talented GK with a promising future and he is one of the very few players that should remain in the lineup next season.

I don’t belive that it is all Astrada’s fault but I think that he should not be be given any more opportunities to coach River.

I do agree with you about Funes Mori. It is obvious that the kid is not ready yet to be in River’s lineup.

As far as Aimar, Saviola & Cavenaghi. I don’t know if their love for River will be enough for them to return. Passarella will have to come up with the money.

The encouraging thing to me is that Passarella is being proactive. The creation of the investors fund may be a solution. All in all, he did walk in to a total financial mess thanks to Aguilar and his cronies. They robbed as much as they could while they were in charge.

They should bring Messi to the club .. 🙂 haha, j/k.

that would be amazing if it were to happen !

  7. pintadoazulblanco says:

I would say that he should join River too but he already made an attempt.

Messi tried out with River in his younger days but the club felt he was too small and would not pay for the medical treatments that Messi needed.

How about Messi returning to la Lepra?

    🙂

  8. Chris says:

    daaaaamn !

that would be a dream… but honestly, i dont think he’ll ever return to NOB, once he’s closer to retiring im sure he’ll join River, which im still ok with that, or he’ll maybe just stay in Barca. like Raul has.

  9. pintadoazulblanco says:

Well, I’ve heard Messi say many times that he wants to experience Futbol Argentino before he retires.

    I can see that happening.

By the end of his career he’ll probably achieve everything possible except playing in Argentina.

As Messi said, he wants to experience the atmosphere, the football culture, the fans, everything that is a part of playing in Argentina.
