whats up Ron,
hpe all is well..
question, what do you think about Sosa ???
u think he can do well on the right ?
I was hoping this guy wouldn’t come back to Argentina so soon, but then again, he wasn’t playing much at all at Bayern.
I’ve seen a few Estudiantes games in the Copa this year and I did see him in a few Bayern games too.
I’m really not impressed with him.
I really don’t think he’s a national team player.
He has alot of pace but I don’t think he has alot of passing, goal scoring abilities.
I don’t think he would be a good option on the right side of the midfield.
I would prefer Aimar, Zanetti or Maxi Rodriguez.
They can make attacking runs, participate in the play buildup, deliver the ball to the forwards.
That’s the kind of player that I would like to see on the right-side of the midfield in the world cup.
According to Oscar Ruggeri, Maradona is looking for someone on the right-side of the midfield that can attack and score goals.
I still believe this would be a really strong lineup in the world cup:
If necessary, Zanetti can replace Aimar in the second half.
Ron, I still agree with you, that would be a fantastic line up. can you imagine demi/samuel as center backs, with Masche/banega in midfield !?!
i can only imagine what damage we can possibley do. both guys are great at defending and distributing balls, and having them feed the balls to di maria, messi AND Pipita???? jeez, honestly, it bugs me so much just thinking about it..bothers me to think Bolatti pretty much has 1 foot in the door instead of Banega, who fortunetly has been ripping it at Valencia lately.
Insua has been improving his skills alot more lately, I heard he had a incredible game 2 matches ago..
With that lineup I see a defensively strong team with lots of attacking options.
Zabaleta & Aimar attacking down the right side.
Insua & Di Maria attacking down the left side.
Aimar joining Banega attacking down the middle.
Well, I guess it’ll only be a dream.
You’re right about Bolatti.
Maradona seems to prefer a player like Bolatti who is playing in his first season in Italy instead of Banega who offers alot more, offensively & defensively, to the national team and is recognized as one of the best players currently in Spain.
It is ridiculous.
As far as Insua, I’ve said it once and I’ll keep saying it……I prefer Insua over Heinze, ANY DAY.
Insua may be young and unproven with the national team but he is a left-back, not a center-back playing out of position, who can defend his zone and make attacking runs.
Heinze cannot do either.
Heinze blows !
being that Mardona will call 30 players to take 23 of them to the world cup i think ther is a good chance that Banega Zanetti Zabaleta and Insua will be called hope they can show Maradona they are what the team really needs dont know to much about aimar seems like he has dissapeared for a while now but i think Pastore is a good chice also.
