THis is shaping up to be one of the best tournaments in recent memory. we could perhaps looking at a play off like last aperatura. If Boca want to make a run at it, a win at River in the superclasico we will be gaining on the leaders. I like the fact that Colon have to come to the bombonera, but unfortunately face a tricky tie in rosario thats never easy against central, and an away match against san lorenzo, who by the way are being coached by the man who i think should be the next coach of la seleccion. my grandfather is a cuervo so i’ve always had a soft spot for them…it would be something if simeone won is third title with his third team…

Simeone is building an impressive resume for himself.

Champion with Estudiantes, River and possibly San Lorenzo.

I’ve always thought of him even when he was a player as someone that would be national team manager one day.

Simeone’s love & comittment to the Argentina shirt as a player was second to none. That wouldn’t change as manager.

I think though, that Simeone will probably manage Atletico de Madrid first before getting a chance with the national team.

The Atletico directors are following his managing career closely and are itching to bring him back to their club as manager.

I think the next step in Simeone’s career will be in Europe.
