Palacio signs with Genoa

After many rumored European transfers in the last few years it has happened for Palacio. He’ll be in the Serie A, forming what could be a potentially strong forward tandem with Crespo in Genoa.

Finally, Rodrigo Palacio was transferred to Italian Genoa, who promised to pay about five million euros.

Far there stayed the offer that the Lazio had done the previous year, approximately 25 million dollars, the Genoese club insured itself the pass.

This way, Genoa has one of the best forwards of the Argentine soccer, although in the last times it had lowered his yield.

As well as, the Boca leadership is analyzing the interest of the same club in other of his players: the mediocampista Sebastián Battaglia, who as Palace has a current contract until 2010.

Nevertheless, and in accordance with the current international rules, six months before the ending of his contract, any player can negotiate with another institution and go away.
