Juan Pablo Sorin officially ended his playing career yesterday in the farewell game between Cruzeiro and the club where he began his footballing career, Argentinos Juniors.
Sorin’s had a really impressive career.
From his success with River Plate to his transfer at a very young age to Juventus. Sorin played for clubs in Italy, Spain, Germany, France and Brasil.
Sorin was Captain of the Argentina U-20 team that won the 1995 U-20 World Cup.
Sorin played in two World Cups with the senior national team and will always be remembered as a very talented left-back who played hard, gave his all and loved the Argentina shirt above all else.
Players like Sorin will always be missed.
Gracias Juampi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can remember first seeing an article about him in El Grafico about 1995. He had short hair back then.
