Lazio’s loss is Spain’s gain.

Absolutely.
Like Carrizo said, it was because of non footballing reasons that the club decided to punish him and left him sitting on the bench for a long stretch of the season.
I’m glad that Carrizo spoke out and let the club know that he wasn’t going to accept the way he was being treated.
Maradona said that as long as Carrizo is playing regularly with his club team, he will be the national team GK.
With Carrizo the issue is not loss of form, that has not happened, he just needs the playing time.
