A great day for Carlos Tevez yesterday scoring two goals, his first multiple goal game in the Premier League, as Manchester United defeated Middlebrough 4-1.

Despite the 3-3 result el Kun Aguero scored two goals in his club’s UEFA Cup game against Lokomotiv.
Aguero has scored 10 goals in 12 games so far (5 in the Spanish League and 5 in the UEFA Cup) and continues to improve on what’s already been a fantastic start to the 2007/08 season.
Gabriel Heinze will be out of action for 3 weeks due to the injury (a hamstring pull on his left leg) that he picked up during the WC qualifier against Chile.
According to tuttomercatoweb.com Milan have made an offer of 8 million dollars to Villareal for Juan Roman Riquelme who is currently under contract until 2008.
Even though Villareal’s manager continues to keep Riquelme out of the starting lineup the club has rejected higher offers than the one Milan has made.
Will Villareal’s board continue with their idiocy of rejecting multi million dollar offers for a player who will remain permanently sidelined and inactive because of a manager’s decision?

Milan busca a Riquelme

In last night’s WC Qualifier victory over Venezuela Javier Zanetti played in his 115th game with the Argentina shirt reaching first place alongside Roberto Ayala for most all time appearances with the national team.
Zanetti’s first game with Argentina was on November 16, 1994 in a friendly against Chile.
No doubt Zanetti will soon surpass Ayala and become the all time caps leader for Argentina.
13 years and counting with the Argentina shirt. A real testament to his endurance, perseverance and great talent. It is an awesome achievement.
GRANDE PUPI !!!!!!!!!!!
