The Saviola to Real Madrid rumors have resurfaced but this time it’s the new Madrid manager saying publicly that he not only wants Saviola but that he will be joining Madrid.
Saviola’s contract would be for 4 years and he would earn 2 million Euros per season.

Bernd Schuster, nuevo técnico del Real Madrid, confirma que Javier Saviola será uno de los nuevos fichajes del equipo
En declaraciones al programa “El Mirador de Punto Radio”, Bernd Schuster ha confirmado esta mañana el fichaje de Javier Saviola, hasta el pasado 30 de junio jugador del FC Barcelona.
A la hora de valorar el nuevo fichaje, Schuster ha definido al jugador argentino como “joven, tiene gol y puede dar mucho”. También se ha referido al pasado barcelonista del delantero. “Son esos pequeños detalles que también nos vienen bien. La afición y la prensa reaccionaron muy bien cuando salió la noticia”.
En la misma entrevista, Schuster ha reconocido que el Madrid no puede fichar, hoy por hoy, a Cristiano Ronaldo, que Kaká está muy difícil y que intentarán también el fichaje de Cesc, aunque reconoce que es difícil. Por último, reconoció que jugadores como Soldado o De la Red “se merecen una oportunidad”.

Yeah, well the good thing for Saviola is that the Madrid manager actually wants him on the team, unlike Rijkaard who never wanted him. That matters alot.
Saviola will of course have alot of competition within the team but Madrid will be competing in alot of tournaments next season (La Liga, Champions League, Copa del Rey) so Saviola should get plenty of opportunities to play.
